f-s-p 832 Posted January 26, 2007 I just got my hands on a stack of old programs starting from the late 50's and ending around 1995. This is the first I re-wrote, here you go! speedyguy 20 Posted January 26, 2007 (edited) I remember watching your two greats of the llate 1950s early 1960s: Antti Pajari riding for Coventry, the very stylish and fast Timo Laine in Holland about the same time. Also seem to remember Timo riding in an Internationale round at New Cross in the early 1960s. He had to use a borrowed bike because his bike was either stolen or lost in Holland - not sure which. I think Timo later went into powerboat racing and was a top performer in this sport as well. Edited January 28, 2007 by speedyguy

I also belief that he was a very good Longtrack rider.
f-s-p 832 Posted January 28, 2007 He was a good longtrack rider, yes. His 16 year old son Jari is now one of the biggest prospects in Finnish speedway. My enquiry on Timo Laine has not been succesful yet.
