iris123 20,939 Posted November 17, 2007 You always get Seagulls for Tchajka no matter which web-site you use.Same with a couple of other riders.Plus i think it is Wiatskie Polany that comes out as Green Glades or something strange
iris123 20,939 Posted November 17, 2007 Yes,i think Roman Akimenko always comes out as Novel Akimenko.Points always come out as glasses. When i saw that at first i wondered why a rider had received 12 glasses!!!!! Some translators are better than other, but you still end up with funny things you have to try and work out yourself. There seem to be limtis on how many word or on web-page translations they sometimes only translate half the page. One translator(Intertran?) doesn't want to translate riders names at all

toonarmy084 0 Posted November 17, 2007 As far as I know, there are four in Graham Halsall, Mark Uzzell, Roger Newton and Rob Irving, but Roger did say there were two others, one a mate of Rob, and the other someone from somewhere in the North. Perhaps Toonarmy could fill in the blanks. What about it, eh Malcolm? BTW ToonArmy, are you planning to spanner during the Ice season? The other rider (Robs Friend) Is called Kevin but I dont no anything else about him as I have never met him, but maybe there will be another 1 starting next year, I have trained before just gotta sort out finances now!!! I hope to be in Assen and Berlin in March but im not sure about spannering yet because in December I will be off to Argentina for a few months.

Also booked are Finland's Antti Aakko, together with Antonin and Jan Klatovsky of the Czech Republic. I expect that all of them will ride in the European Championship that weekend.
