No. See all this Al Holliday , Jimmy Gibbs stuff has been done to death on here repeatedly by someone. Mention no names. I can’t see the point of keeping on banging on with the same stuff

I don’t remember them. Just the repeated posts. I wouldn’t watch repeats of Coronation Street either

Unsung heroes who stick in my memory are Graham Knowler, Dave Brewer, Brendan Shilletto ,Patrick Pawson. Pete Murray.A great venue i wondered if anyone can remember seeing the Americans Scott Autrey, Jeff Sexton, Mike Bast getting in some practice laps at Plough lane..?

Jeff Sexton was once rumoured to be joining "The Rebels"...but I think it was just that! Rumours!

Shame that the Wimbledon did not sign Scott as he rode Plough Lane like his home track. I still remember his 58.2 secs track record in 1978 when he was entering the 3rd bend before the other riders in the race were still riding bend 2.

Great rider Scott  he was a terrific rider,  plough Lane suited him he  conquered the County ground which maybe pushed him forward quicker as a rider .How many Americans could conquer the County ground he for me was up there with Ivan there ( maybe better what a compliment) .Ivan , Scott, Phil  Crump( Snr) , Leigh Adams , Bob Kilby, Martin Ashby,  were terrific at the County ground.
