goldeneagle 15 Posted July 12, 2008 I thought it was the Russkies getting assistance from the Poles, Tomek just loves team riding with them. Gutted that Jarek didn't win the run-off but at least we get to see the Poles again on Thursday. Far better entertainment than the Aussies. Quite right, I couldnt bear to watch Leigh Adams cry twice in a fortnight
Steve Shovlar 10,424 Posted July 12, 2008 Thought it was an entertaining meeting tonight leading all the way to the race off. Started very slowly but there were some very good heats.
orion 7,608 Posted July 12, 2008 Good to see adams kick hampel butt in the last heat and wipe the smile of louis stupid face in the studio who was cheering jarek on .
London Witch 57 Posted July 12, 2008 Good to see adams kick hampel butt in the last heat and wipe the smile of louis stupid face in the studio who was cheering jarek on . Oi you, that face is not stupid!!! And he was not the only one cheering Hampel on!
hyderd 1,216 Posted July 12, 2008 Yes you are right I think they should change it to 8 points. No - they should abolish it altogether IMO its six of one and half a dozen of the other,if you are winning and lose out due to the Joker,it stinks, but without it we would'nt of had the exciting finish we had tonight.Maybe change it to,only a programmed rider can be used. pugwash 3,208 Posted July 12, 2008 IMO a decent meeting. The top two teams battling it out till the end, a run off and some entertaining riding by the Russians + good to see Matej in the points (pity that he was a one man team).
Subedei 0 Posted July 12, 2008 I'm not entirely sure the Russians understood the rules - they made some weird decisions, making tactical changes and yet ensuring that every rider still had five rides.
Hazzman 72 Posted July 12, 2008 I'm not entirely sure the Russians understood the rules - they made some weird decisions, making tactical changes and yet ensuring that every rider still had five rides. Just adds to the intrigue they manage to still have in post-Soviet times.
Scott0311 94 Posted July 12, 2008 Not too bad a meeting. Saifutdinov was a joy to watch and thought Noddy didn't disgrace himself either. So glad to hear the dulcet tones of Mullard again. Did you know that Kasprzak is the track record holder at Leszno?

comebackkings 113 Posted July 12, 2008 There were more than enough passes tonight. Gollobs "team ride" with the Russian who was riding his nuts off to try to pass him, was class. Adams had some superb first bends as well. If Monday night is as good then it will be an entertaining evening. Doubled my money with Skybets heat by heat deal as well.
