2009 Elite League Pairs 08/08

Recommended Posts

Just noticed that this years Elite League Pairs, Which will be held on the 8th August at 7:30, will be raced at Arlington Stadium, Eastbourne for 2009.

Should open up the field with a few track specialists riding for other sides..

It's to celebrate 80 years of speedway at Arlington.

I'd have done that by tarmacing it and building a proper track there instead :P

taken from www.elite-eagles.com

As the meeting is a BSPA event, under normal circumstances, a season ticket will not be valid. Once again Bob Dugard has said that if anyone, who has an Eastbourne season ticket 2009 will be welcome to the meeting and the club will sort out any payment to the BSPA

This is an extra meeting for the club also an extra meeting for season ticket holders at no extra cost!

fair play to The Eastbourne promotion

I've given Dugard a hard time in the past over things but fair play to him for that.

awful choice of track, never gonna do anything as a country in world cups until we make the big meetings on the biggest tracks.

Err, this thread is about the Elite League Pairs, can't quite see why you want to bring up the subject of the World Cup, unless it's just to have a cheap dig at Eastbourne speedway ?

I believe this will be a nice change having the Pairs at a different track. May make this trip along the coast for this one, with Poole's pairing of Pedersen and Holder (averages and injury-free permitting) will be a fave for the title.

Is there some kind of British-only qualification for the EL Pairs that has passed me by?
