The 2009 Premier League Riders' Championship

Recommended Posts

There are only 14 teams in the league and if these 2 riders are not fixed up with team places before the season ends they could get the last 2 places in the line up (depends which teams have the highest average riders who miss out).:lol:

Sure if it is the unfashionable clubs then the powers that be will look at ways to stop the club having 2 representatives in the field.

Comets could have 3 representatives in the PLRC:wink:

Parker and Lyons have had up and down performances at Sheffield in the past. Personally I think Daniel Nermark and Andre Compton are in for good shouts

Second part is already coming true with Compton signed up at Workington!

Now who will Nermark sign for? mhmmm :P

It has to be sometime soon, but it looks like a very tasty line up if they go on the present averages;

Berwick; Josef Franc

Birmigham; Tomas Piszcz

Edinburgh; Ryan Fisher

Glasgow; Shane Parker and James Grieves

Kings Lynn; Darcy Ward and Tomas Topinka

Newcastle; Kenni Larsen

Newport; Leigh Lanham

Redcar; Ty Proctor

Rye House; Robert Mear

Scunthorpe; Magnus Karlson

Sheffield Ricky Ashworth

Somerset; Steve Johnston

Stoke; Jason Bunyan

Workington; Kevin Doolan

I dunno about Lanham, and Mear will need to improve on his recent showing at Owlerton, but if that's the line-up then it's brilliant as all (bar those 2 I mentioned, maybe lol) are capable of causing an upset around Sheffield. :approve:

What`s the cutoff point for the averages?

Lanham may not have enough meetings to qualify, although I hope he does obviously.

Lets hope Kev can bring us some more Silverware! il still stand by my early season prediction and say Fisher and Topinka could do something in this meeting!

But as we all no anything could happen here.
