Same day as the 3rd/4th place match in South Africa for the footie World Cup and the day before the World Cup final...... And kick off will be 7.30pmGMT.......... flagrag 704 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) That does seem a little strange to stage it World Cup final weekend as if by any chance England make it that the attendance will be well down I would have thought. Another thing they have to consider is you are getting close to peak holiday season so kids will start breaking up from school and families going away. The date suggested has now been mentioned to me a number of times so I suspect this is correct and will be the date announced this evening. I doubt anyone will be interested in 3rd/4th place. It might ruin the welsh open should england get to the WC final but after yesterday's meeting they may have shot themselves in the foot.
