Was going to suggest the following site -

http://www.internationalspeedway.co.uk/index.html

This lists loads of info on country based Internationals (so includes tests). However, the Soviet Union in 1991 only toured here racing in Challenges against club sides so isn't, I think, listed in the above site.

Starghost is correct, the address for the researcher site is -

http://www.speedwayresearcher.org.uk/home.html

I have no record of a 1990 match in Scotland, at Edinburgh or Glasgow.

23/04/1990 at Exeter (78-18)

24/04/1990 at Poole (59-37)

26/04/1990 at Ipswich (66-30)

27/04/1990 at Peterborough (67-27)

29/04/1990 at Newcastle (45-51)

I went to the Exeter v Russia match and it attracted a huge crowd. It was also covered in a special programme on the local ITV channel that night. TSW I think? Exeter was chosen as most thought it would best suit the Russians. But they just couldn't find their way round the place at all.

Maybe. It will need a look into my parent's loft. Leave it with me. Might be a few weeks.
