Despite James returning to Redcar for the rest of the season, the 20 year testimonial meeting will still be held at Glasgow, on the 24th of October.

Wolverhampton legend Peter Karlsson is the latest big name to be added to the line up, others recently agreeing to take part part in the meeting include ex Redcar rider Chris Kerr, Edinburgh captain Mathew Wethers and team mate Kalle Katajisto.

 

The format of the meeting will be a four team tournament between Glasgow,Redcar Wolverhampton and Edinburgh select sides.

 

Sponsorship packages available -

 

£200 rider sponsorship - testimonial race jacket signed by the rider. 2 complimentary meeting tickets, 2 complimentary meeting programmes, drinks and buffet in A-Plant lounge, Photograph with sponsored rider.

 

£150 heat sponsorship - 2 complimentary meeting tickets, 2 complimentary meeting programmes, drinks and buffet in A-plant lounge.

I shall be making a "guest" appearance on the mic for this meeting so look forward to catching up with fellow forum members, facebook friends(?) and Tigers fans from my dark and distant past!!! :lol:

micman, nice to hear you will be making an appearance! As a now southern softie you will probably need 2 sets of thermals on Sunday lol. Looks like it could be a cracking meeting - any bets on Lindgren having a good go at Shane's track record? Or Shane trying to better it! Or even Travis sneaking under the radar to claim it - he got really close this season.
