Just to let you know that Cameron was allowed to come home from hospital yesterday.

He has been very lucky coming away with back and shoulder pain. No bad damage just stretched muscles and bruising. Unfortunately Andrew has broken his wrist and as we were leaving hospital he was about to have a nice sleep while they were setting it. We are truly grateful for Andrews’s quick thinking to miss Cameron but we all feel terrible that he got hurt.

All of the family want to say a very big thank you to Grahame Reeve and the organisers, all of the staff at Newport speedway, the St Johns paramedics and the staff at Cardiff Hospital and also the other parents. A big thank you to Grahame and Julie from Addition Builders who got Cameron’s bikes and tools back for us.

Cameron would also like to say a very big thank you to Lawrence for lending him his sun glasses but was disappointed that he couldn’t keep them.

Cam is a little groggy today as he didn’t sleep well last night but apart from feeling very sore he his feeling a lot better and asking when he can ride again.

Our thoughts are now with Andrew and we all wish him a very speedy recovery, we hope that you and your parents have got home safely and are enjoying the sunshine.

Bob, Cameron, Angie, Charlotte & Chloe

Glad the news is reasonably positive, hope they're both up and riding again soon.

Congratulations to all the riders who took part it was a really entertaining afternoon (except for Heat 3 of the 500's). It's a shame that it wasn't well attended but those of us there enjoyed it.
