Eazzzy 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Hello. I'm not sure and I ask You for help. Is there tactical substitutes in British Elite League? Thanks for your reply PS. Sorry for my english, I'm from Poland :S
21st century heathen 220 Posted July 20, 2010 Welcome to the forum. Your English is fine. Please feel free to join in. A team may use a 'tactical ride' when 10 or more points behind. The rider nominated for the 'tactical ride' will start from the tapes as usual but he will score double points if he beats a rider from the other team. If the team falls 12 points behind later in the meeting the team manager can nominate a different rider to take a 'tactical ride'. A 'tactical ride' can only be used after heat 4 and may not be used in heat 15.
Eazzzy 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Ok, thanks. And there isn't tactical substitutes when team falls 6 points behind, like in Polish Leagues or Swedish Elitserien?
Nadroj46 0 Posted July 20, 2010 No. There is NO Tactical Subs this season.
21st century heathen 220 Posted July 20, 2010 No, not any more. We used to have that rule in British Speedway for many years. But it was recently dropped in favour of the current rule.
