21st century heathen 220 Posted September 3, 2010 No doubt that most of the PL would thrash the Heathens out of sight. But Evans, and I, refer to lower order PL teams. Stoke would be a good team to face but obviously Smart rides for both which is a shame (perhaps they could use a guest for him). Our lads have been invited up to Stoke, and not forgetting that Cradley moving up there for a year revived the club in its own right, to practice a few times this season so perhaps free dates permitting perhaps a 2-leg challenge would be a nice way to say thanks. superguest 194 Posted September 3, 2010 Seems Barrie Evans has been an inspired signing for the Heathens! I always thought he was a decent rider but he didn't ever seem to improve in the PL.
21st century heathen 220 Posted September 3, 2010 Depends how you look at it mate. 9.50 home (higher than Armstrong) and 3.50 away (lower) = 6.50 o/a (lower). Armstrong was in really good form just before his injury. His o/a average is8.36. We've been significantly weakened.
