no-brakes-uk 76 Posted December 28, 2010 (edited) You've forgotten the first: Birmingham go to EL. And the 8.01 rider rule. Also I don't recall Peterborough riders being blocked. If they were, that was another cock up as some had already moved. And if they weren't, it was still a cock up to block one team's riders and not the other. alan_boon 1 Posted December 28, 2010 The Birmingham-Ipswich swap has no real bearing on any of this. And the 8.01+ rule hasn't been announced anywhere, probably because it's unworkable and will fall apart at some point.

Actually come to think of it, what was announced from the AGM? there is a lot of uncertainty even within the promoters as to what is in and what isn't. For starters the hugger guard was thrown out yet some teams and most riders are still unaware of it! Is the points limit and conversion even official yet? Maybe when they announce the outcome of the Cov Peterborough saga they will also announce the official changes. orion 7,615 Posted December 28, 2010 Didn't take long to stray away from the facts again. The facts are clear ...Kl were never in a million years going to join the El intill the money was put on the table ...most people class that as a bung .

If you look at the BSPA site you might see that the points limit and conversion rate seems fairly clear.

No, that isn't a fact, it is an assumption based on your view of the fact that KL decided to move up. Most people might think that a share of the TV money together with the explanation put forward by KL is the reason.
speedibee 3,091 Posted December 28, 2010 Didn't take long to stray away from the facts again. Are you turning into the Aces version of Steve Shovlar ? I certainly hope not. You must be one of very few who really believe KL just chose to join the elite league . If you look back at he statements from KL in the weeks previous to this affair starting, and then the timing of their announcement it's fairly obvious what occured . Well to most of us it is. alan_boon 1 Posted December 28, 2010 I think Aces51 is sticking to the facts so he's not a Shovlar.
