21st century heathen 220 Posted January 31, 2011 Any idea what sort of average he would be on? He could certainly do a job at this level.
Ron Butler 0 Posted January 31, 2011 Which is a different topic. In answer to your question, Trackside, a lot of riders weren't signed until the AGM earlier this week. I'd imagine in the next week or so we'll see more signings, probably of some of the 'bigger' names of NL. Belle Vue have now officially confirmed that they will be running a team - Belle Vue 'Colts' - in the 2011 National League. Whilst this primarily to aid the development of their present juniors it may be that they would need some men with greater experience to fill a gap or two. blueherb777 571 Posted January 31, 2011 Last week it was anounced the NDL would be 8 teams - maybe up to 10. So Belle Vue Colts are Number 9. Will there be a Number 10 or not. And if so who ????

Jon Armstrong would be an excellent signing for belle vue, A good points scorer and excellent help to the younger guys in the pits, also a local lad so save on travelling expenses , Sign him up Mort

Some years ago he regularly appeared in the Elite team.

Well im still hopeful Jon will be a heathen again but it makes sense for the aces to sign him. I must admit im really looking forward to visiting belle vue again been a good few years since i went to kirky lane.

torpointfanatic22 268 Posted February 3, 2011 Any idea what sort of average he would be on? He could certainly do a job at this level. Pretty sure Birko's last average was just over 8, 8.38 rings a bell for some reason.
