kiwi 49 Posted February 27, 2011 Grant Tregoning won the NZ Champs at Rosebank Sunday February 27. Jason Bunyan (defending champion) beat Ritchie Hawkins in run-off for second place. Grant rode well. Made the gate 5 times and wasn't troubled. Jason rode well for his first real meeting back on a bike since his injuries last year. and his first race out broke the track record. Made a bad gate (as he usually does) on his race with Tregoning and couldn't make up the lost ground. Ritchie rode well, missed the gate on the runoff and had bike problems on 3rd lap.
