AlanHitt 1 Posted May 7, 2013 This has all been very interesting, but average speeds are just that, average. They don't take into account peak of acceleration down the straights that on the bigger tracks with long length runs is hitting around 70 plus mph dropping right down to around 35 ish on the slowest point of the corner. I would like radar guns or similar positioned at the end of each straight to record the actual peak of acceleration speed, I think people would be really impressed with what that would reveal..!
