Ht 9 Franklin replaced Perry

Ht 13 Perry replaced Jacobs (TS)

Ht 16 Franklin replaced Morris

Although it appears that a Brit never beat a Swede or Dane unless there was a fall or engine failure Brendan was ahead of Palovaraa when he pulled up (ht11) and second ahead of Nissen in ht 8 before the race was stopped.

Very nice stadium

Crowd around 300

Had`a brief chat with Per Jonsson who was managing Swedish team :)

Are there any news which team replaces Poland in the second semifinal on Sunday in Chervonograd?

A team called 'Team Europe' is replacing Poland.

14. Andrej Lebedev (Latvia)

15. Andrej Czindilow (Russia)

16. Dimitryi Lemza (Russia)

Given by announcer as 302. Rather disappointing from local estimates I believe.

That is correct. Due to injuries and various other reasons we are not able build a team of five riders on our own, so our friends from Croatia will help us to build the team.

i think many people decided to attend the festival festivities down town rather going to the speedway.

Normally Smederna attracts 1000+ on their Allsvenskan (PL) meetings.

If it were not for that stupid principle of the UEM when the host pre-finals is already in the final, no team of Slovenia, Croatia and the Adria there would not be.

I'm sorry if this team the Czech Republic, which is more worthy to be in the finals than the Adria.

In Chervonograd even three - it was a good team.

Sorry, but such should never be allowed in any official competition.

This is the same nonsense as that "Team Europe" that we have seen in the past. If such makeshift team is neccessary to complete the line-up, it is bad enough, but for heaven's sake don't let teh results of any such ineligible team count for teh official results. They should only be allowed to ride as reserve team to make up the number.

Adria is not a country, nor does it have a national sporting federation to warrant participation in an official European Championship. If a team called "Team Adria" takes part in the final, its results should never count. Any such "artificial" team should be regarded as ineligible and therefore only the other three teams should officially compete for the medals.

Sorry, but to allow this "Team Adria" to compete is a shame. It robs this UEM competition of all its credibility.

If Slovenia can not raise a team of their own, then they should withdraw or rather be expelled completely form the event and be replaced by the next best team from the qualifying meetings, and that is the Czech Republic.

And who ever thought up that nae "Team Adria"? They should have called them either "Slovenia & Croatia" or perhaps "the Former Yugoslav Republics".

What's next? England, or rather "Team GB" strenghtened with Australians and calling themselves "Team BC" (British Commonwealth)?
