Greg 123 Posted September 30, 2011 Are we discussing all 2012 potential teams, or a particular one? That confused me a bit Lorna so i just put a team down haha.
Fozzie4388 679 Posted September 30, 2011 If Scunthorpe/Sheffield run next year I'd like to see Irving Worrall Worrall Wrathall Nielsen and the next 2 from the batch of Superstars Scunny bring on. (Reason i didnt include Birks is his PL average is now above 4.)
PhilK 150 Posted September 30, 2011 Very difficult to consider a seven until we have some idea of points limits and other various rulings for 2012. That said a heat leader pairing of Cameron Heeps and Robert Branford would be a very good start
vog 200 Posted September 30, 2011 Atkin, Sarj and Webster I can see being back (Hopefully) Rambo apparently doesn't want to double down again, and I can see Pickard moving to Dudley now that he is a Wolves asset. As for the reserves, we never really got a good look at Nobes, Isherwood is highly inconsistent and Reade, while improving, i'm still not sure about. As for a team I would like to see, assuming a 40 point limit again: Tim Webster 8.51/Jason Garrity 8.18 Luke Priest 5.53/ Paul Starke 5.93 Tony Atkin 8.07 James Sarjeant 6.80 Brendan Johnson 5.02 Ben Reade 3 Tim Nobes
Islander15 1,064 Posted October 1, 2011 The PL limit to double down was 5.00 this year, so assuming it stays the same I would really like to see Jason Bunyan back at Smallbrook. Now that surely would help to raise the crowds, bringing back our PL #1! So I'll go for a team of: 1. Jason Bunyan 9.48 2. Aaron Baseby 4.82 3. Brendan Johnson 5.02 4. Matt Bates/Jamie White-Williams 4.86/4.48 5. Nick Simmons 8.51 6. Max Clegg 3.00 7. John Resch 4.29 I can't decide which rider would do a better job at #4. I haven't actually seen Clegg ride but he won the junior champs at Smallbrook & since then he's posted some good scores, but I don't know if he's even old enough to ride league speedway. And a final note, please sign Jason Bunyan!!!!
Fozzie4388 679 Posted October 1, 2011 Max is 15 in April, I'm sure he'll be at Scunthorpe/Sheffield if that team continues. Been a Sheffield lad.
