Agreed, its a shocking team. Lindback is the only guy and doubt they can afford any of the big guys left.

Bar Masarna i don't think any of the other teams will get big riders and like I said they are broke.

9 spots left in the league.

I expect some younger guys to fill the spots.

For those of you who are interested here is a list originally put together by the Swedish Public Service channel SVT with the average attendance for the 2018 season. https://www.elitspeedway.com/artikel/sjxsaju0w-21mi1/publikstodet-okar-i-ess-se-hela-listan-har. The orginal list you can find here: https://www.svt.se/sport/artikel/publikbarometern

With an average of 4841 Smederna has the 21st highest average attendance in Sweden amongts all professional leagues and the highest average outside Allsvenskan (football) and SHL (icehockey).

Do not know if this has been posted already, but Tai Woffinden won't be riding anymore in Sweden.

'' For a long time I have been thinking about riding in one less league and put all my focus on the GP. Last year I chose not to ride in England, now I want to try just to ride in Poland and the GP.

The reason is that I want to try and stay in better physical shape and be able to maintain the same dietary schedule like during the winter and preseason. When you race in so many different countries there is a lot of travel which means that it is difficult to maintain a structured diet and exercise schedule.

A new TV-deal has been signed between Ess and C more. C more will show all 82 meetings in their Tv channels with one focus meeting each on Tuesday and Thursday. ESS play will remain as an archive, news site and on-demand service. The deal is for 2020-22 seasons.

Thanks Ghostie, great for Swedish speedway to have C More back. Does that mean that the subscription service is finished ?

ESS Play will still figure as an archive, news and OnDemand service where you will be able to watch the replays of the meetings.

It seems not for live streaming from what I've read. Although the press release gives another impression.
ESS play will only publish the meetings the day after (after midnight). But we'll see. The info isn't very clear regarding the streaming.
The issue with Cmore is if the they have geoblock for their own subscription (due to the football, icehockey and etc they also show).
