Pity they only relaid major parts of it 4 weeks ago. It started breaking up with the bike power and heat. Moto3 was a really good race, plenty of action. Pity Jake Dixon blew it, should have just gone a bit slower and held onto 2nd place. MotoGP in the wet, really wet. Olivera did really well, as did Daren Binder….. that was a surprise. Roll on the next meeting. Horrendous crash again from Marquez, he can't keep doing this as I worry he will really damage himself on one of these high speed crashes.

I don't think I seen a highside that high, but he also twisted in mid air. Surprised he got up actually. That was his 4th high speed crash of the week end, one I saw he barrelled rolled, another I saw at the same spot I think, he slid gracefully on his back and the bike barrelled rolled. I am always cringing when the bike goes up in the air, fortunately not seen one hit a rider, hopefully I don't see one, could be real bad. I agree with you, if he cant control himself and just settle for what the bike will do then he should stop riding. I hope he does, too many injuries and he has a detached retina, specialist said one big bang on his head and he could go blind. He took a head knock yesterday, lets hope it was not a real bad one. If some contracts are up at the end of the year it should be interesting. I think Mir and Quartararo will want to move, plus one or two others wanting full factory bikes. These youngsters are amazing when they come to MotoGP

They are saying it’s not as bad as his last bout with this injury. He’s pushed his luck so much over the years and it seems to have run out. I know he’s only 29 but maybe some close family members should be telling him to hang the leathers up.
bruno 1,790 Posted March 22, 2022 I couldn't wait for the Rossi, Pedrosa Marquez, Lorenzo period to finish . It was more or less guaranteed they would finish 1 - 4 but I'm actually missing it altho I admit the youngsters are taking things to a different level

customhouseregular 1,651 Posted March 23, 2022 My good wife, who has multiple serious health issues cannot stand the sound of motorcycles. Our flat is so designed that I can’t find a quiet place to watch.

Turn the sound down, it’s the movement of bikes that is exciting, the sound adds to that but not necessary if push come to a shove.

OveFundinFan 4,137 Posted March 23, 2022 It is very exciting at the moment, and has been for last couple years, but now….. off the scale.

Last year a Frenchman Fabio Quartararo on a Yamaha won the individual and Ducati the team. Ducati have 3 teams of 2, so that is 6 bikes it is looking after. Honda and Yamaha have 2 x2, Suzuki 1 x2 along with Aprilia. Aprilia have been very much tail end charlies for a few years, they started moving forward last year and now can finish in the top 10 easily. Little more improvement and they will be up there. In the top class top speeds can now be around 224mph (phew), Ducati developed and others followed a rear end lowering system to help stop front end lifting at the start. This has developed into front end lowering, so both can be lowered on the straights. However, concern about increased top speed and the problems this device can cause if you tailing someone with a wind behind you, braking for corners is a nightmare, front end lowering is band from next year. Announcing that now will save loads of money being spent on development of anything more. Yes, it is interesting. I noticed he was staggering when he got to his feet so must have had some mild concussion but it's not good obviously for him. I thought the standard of marshaling was poor in Indonesia, It took far too long for marshals to get to him and check he was ok. Also in other incidents they didn't seem very quick at making sure riders were protected after they had fallen. A bit scary really! Anyway, really looking forward to Argentina at the weekend.

They use a 765cc engine in Moto 2 that is based on the Street Triple RS road bike engine. Top class is 1000cc. 2
