King's Lynn V Mildenhall (nlkoc) 2nd May

Recommended Posts

The weather forecast on Wednesday actually looks pretty decent.

Technical error perhaps?

Hopefully not!

Based on the first leg, I suspect the teams will line-up as:

1 James Cockle

2 Brendan Johnson

3 Lewis Kerr

4 Adam Lowe

5 Jake Knight R/R

6 Tom Stokes

7 Scott Campos

1 Cameron Heeps

2 Cameron Heeps Joe Jacobs

3 Stefan Nielsen

4 Daniel Halsey

5 Lewis Blackbird

6 Nathan Stoneman

7 Josh Bates

Mildenhall have a 15 point lead from their home leg.

Pretty tough one to call this one. Can't see our Young Stars turning over a 15 point deficit

Not too worried about the result (although I'd like to see the Starlets win) but looking forward to seeing how much the likes of Kerr, Stokes, Nielsen, Jacobs & Blackbird have improved since I last saw them ride.

And of course to see some racing after almost a month!

Say it quietly, but the forecast on the BBC actually looks ok for tomorrow!

Looking forward to seeing some speedway, catching up with BDJ Racing and hopefully Mildenhall going through into the semi finals

Bring it on!

Same as an elite league match! Abit cheeky if you ask me!

Where do I start??????

How about Lewis Blackbird, disgraceful riding last night IMO. Rid Cockle to the fence in one heat which Cockle took a displeasure too and floored him at the pit gate & warned him he'll kill someone if he's not careful. Then came heat 9 when completely missing the start nearly pulled off Cockles fears. Diving for a gap that wasn't there and cleaning everyone out with poor Adam Lowe taking a high speed trip to the fence with a sickening bang. A few people let Blackbird know what they thought after that. Absolutely horrendous.

Nonsense.

I didn't see Blackbird do anything wrong in either heat - certainly nothing that I haven't seen many, many other riders do.

In heat 9 (and I have seen a very good replay of it), Nathan Stoneman clipped the back of Blackbird's bike in a tight first corner and that sent him ramming into Lowe, nothing more.

Cockle's reaction was entirely unnecessary and in sharp contrast to Blackbird's sporting gesture when they returned to the pits.
