screm 8,050 Posted August 16, 2012 This could be to close to call,Morris is an excellent choice of guest but our reserves look weak, and its anyones guess as to how our new signing will go on his 1st trip to Shielfield. Berwick 45 Leicester 45.

screm 8,050 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Dyer is probably the best reserve we have had all season!! Thats hardly a boast, but your right. Edberg had a few decent scores,as did Tomicek at times of course. Edited August 16, 2012 by screm

Berwick 45 Leicester 45. Oh no, not Nick Morris as guest he always scores bagfuls of points against the Lions.Just wondered why Berwick kept Jacobsen & got rid of Branford ? I was impressed with Branford when he rode at Leicester for Redcar & when Berwick visited a couple of weeks ago, he seemed on the pace, tried 100% & looked far more interested than Jacobsen did & deserved more points for his efforts than he actually got. wjm 261 Posted August 17, 2012 There isn’t really any pressure on Barrett to perform, mainly due to the performances of David and Robin who have both been riding well above their averages as of late. Hopefully he turns out to be a Jorgensen or a Toft sort of standard.

screm 8,050 Posted August 17, 2012 Bit of a wet day in Berwick today, first half of the day anyway, though it is brighter now.Forecast for tonight is theres a chance of a shower but the secong half of the night should be dry. Tomorrow the forecast is good, dry with some long spells of sunshine. There isn’t really any pressure on Barrett to perform, You think, hang on silly me yes you would think that,we`ve carried a rider or riders far to often this season and currently we sit bottom of the PL,yes we`ve had injuries and lots of them, the fact remains we need all our riders chipping in with points if we are to climb the PL. Assets young man assets the heart of a good side. We have had a crap season as far as injuries are concerned so we need to look ahead cause this years a right off. Partly agree, the 4TT success has stopped it being a right off, though Im one who always looks at PL position as to how to judge our season and right now its non to clever. We do have meetings in hand on the clubs above us,so its vital we start picking up points, home especially but a point or two away wont hurt. Im pleased with the signing of Barrett,as you say if he becomes a club asset then thats good news,if the rule is still 6 home 6 away for a rider to become an asset then Barrett wont become a Berwick asset this season as we dont have enough PL meetings left. I would agree after the injury to Ashworth it was for the best to think about next season, assets alone aren't the heart of a good side, as Ashworth shows. silly me Agree Edited August 17, 2012 by wjm
