Nelson must be greatly heartened by some of the remarks on here. Rye House supporters will recall the exciting racing he provided in 2011 and the tremendous improvement and potential he showed.

if I recall correctly the court case in 2011 that was the subject of so much interest and misinformed speculation by the usual 'experts' actually involved residents of Canterbury and I am not aware that Nelson lived there.

I'm looking forward to seeing Nelson race for the Rockets in 2013 and wish him and all of the team the very best in the season ahead.

Congratulations to Jason B on another NZ championship - thanks for posting the result Lord Skid.

Cheekee Raylee Monkee, I was just joking ))) I watched everyone of his home performances plus a few away ones and saw his improvement from a fast unguided missile to a decent 3rd heat leader. I hope that he can come back and continue where he left off and that last years lay off has not left him too race rusty.

I think that him, Anders, Kasper and Jason G are all capable of increasing there averages and as long as Ollie and Simon can maintain their's, Rye House will not be as low in league as some others are appearing to think.

At very least racing will be exciting. If its young exciting racers you want to watch, come to Rye on a Saturday night )))

I'm sure he really couldn't give a toss what anyone says, but he'll always have you to be disgusted on his behalf if needed.

Does that mean that Jason will be allocated a GP Wild Card again?

Id say its odds on.

To be fair his performance last year was much better than most - including myself- expected.

Jason Bunyan did say at the end of season awards that it had taken some time to get his head right after a couple of years of injuries. lets hope he carries on where he left off last year.

Jason could put at least a point on his average, but his gating lets him down, especially at home

I agree but with Kasper being the same, makes for some good racing this season.

If he doesn't reach a 7 point average, then he wants his butt kicking, his last 3 home and 3 away averaged 7.45, and with the new rule regarding bonus points, gone are the days of team riding and helping younger tream mates, i can see a team being 7 individual riders, with no team spirit, as you have to race your mates, so there will be no help with set ups and tips, shame, but that's what the Promoters have voted for.

New Rockets website went live this morning http://www.ryehouserockets.co/

Looks ok, finally someone has dragged Len into the new millenium )))

Still headed as Live Speedway every Saturday Night at 7pm ???

With no National League team, it looks like were going to get a lot of friendlies and time fillers

Late start to the Rockets fixtures this year as first home match is on April 1st, and shock horror its against the Witches, most probably first of about a dozen fixtures with them during the season )))

I suppose it doesn't really matter who it is, I am just waiting for the season to start )))

At last, a proper website. Looks good at first glance. Let's hope it's kept up to date

Some interesting fixtures with 2 northern tours, as last year, but only 2 meetings for each.
