Banks Olympique 16 Oct

Recommended Posts

The annual individual meeting, the BANK'S OLYMPIQUE at Wolverhampton Speedway takes place this Tuesday evening where riders are handicaped in their next ride if they have scored points.

The meeting always features top riders, second strings and new riders and with the handicap system it always creates good races and plenty of passing.

Club legend Sam Ermolenko, 1993 World Champion will be making a one off track appearance in the meeting ..... not a demonstration ride ..... actually in the line up after making a successful track return in New York in August. He will be joined by fans favourite, Adam Skornicki who will be making the trip over from his Leszno base and hopefully do his trademark dough nutsone more time.

Coventry duo Scott Nicholls (British Champion) and Eddie Kennett, Birmingham skipper Danny King, Swindon’s Peter Kildemand and American ace Ryan Fisher who won the Gary Peterson meeting are also included along with Parrys International Wolves stars like Fredrik Lindgren, Nicolai Klindt, Ricky Wells, Pontus Aspgren and Jacob Thorssell.

Hopefully Tai Woffinden will also be in the line up but Ty Proctor has had to return to Australia early to get treamnt on an old hip injury so he can be ready for the Australian Campionships.

End of season firework finale will close the curtain on the 2012 Season

Really looking forward to this one !!

Havent heard anywhere that he is not riding, but with Nicholls, Kennett, Kildemand etc in the line up it will still be a great meeting with Sam making the line up and not just to makw up the numbers

Very surprised there is NO Adam Roynon, can only be that Adam prefered not to ride.
