Workington V Ipswich Lc S/f 13/10

Recommended Posts

The witches were starting to wilt ,they got out of jail and they know it

You could say Workington got an advantage in the first place facing Ipswich minus their in form rider due to a late international call up and their key reserve. At the end of the day your promotion were given the opportunity to replay the meeting this week with Ipswich apparently happy to do so, but your promotion not so.

In that instance their should only be one outcome and that is the one that happened. You Worky fans should just accept it and stop whining like a bunch of girls!!

I'd have thought you had more pressing worries to get your knickers in a twist over.

Shut up !!!! So 26 heats were ridden between the two teams, 15 of them from Ipswich and 9 from Workington, aggregate to me should be 15 heats from Ipswich and 15 from Workington, quite simple really  . You should erase 5 heats from Ipswich so the aggregate is on what both teams have raced which should be 9, pretty much common sense really .

Makes no difference to the end result for Ipswich which will see Somerset come out on top :P

Telling someone to "shut up" when you don't agree with them - the tactics of a 3 year old!

Of course the aggregate should be over two lots of 15 heats, so why all of a sudden should we drop 5 off the Ipswich home leg? That's not the 15 heats which you just said should be used!

Oh wait, I know why! Because it suits you!

We would take you on over 15 heats at your patch, no problem, but your promotion can't or don't want to do that - so that's something you should take up with them rather than trying to invent rules so you can have your cake and eat it!

Somerset may beat us in the final, they may not - but one thing's for certain - Workington won't win the league cup this year as we knocked you out of it.

^^ This!

Yes, there goes a sneering below the belt comment from a true supporter of speedway up and down the country.

The outcome doesn't suit the Worky fans but it suits the promotion !

As I've said before the restaging option was declined which understandably has upset the Comets fans .

Don't complain on here , have a go at your owner , he's obviously got an agenda and is not wanting to lose any more money !

I think this debate has now run its course and the fact that the Witches are in the final is really not their fault .

If you want to spin that comment like that then that is entirely up to you.

What else would you mean ???? Get ya self out of that one :P .

Wouldn't have had much luck re-staging for this week, pee'd down everyday since Sat with local flooding . Our riders wanted to carry on Saturday to get a result but what a surprise Ipswich didn't. Ipswich didn't knock us out of the final Jules you got through by default

Best of luck Somerset in the final :t::party::cheers:

Think you'll find that the referee abandonned the meeting, not the Ipswich riders.

We did knock you out by scoring more points than you - as the book of results will always show.

Best of luck to Edinburgh!
