Just wondered who we thought the best 7 riders in the PL were in 2012.

Not necessarily top 7 but best performers over the 2012 season.

Just to add a bit of regulation to this, maybe the team should fall within a 42.50 limit (otherwise, you'll just get everyone's No.1...) and also not allowed to nominate a rider from the team you support...

Cookie would be at 1! He was the best rider in the Premier League so should be a no brainier!

R Worrall & Palm Toft all so impressed me!

I know this team would not do any good in a actual match but this is 1-7 of riders who impressed me in 2012 while staying under 42.5

1. Craig Cook (Edinburgh)

2. David Bellego (Berwick)

3. Richie Worrall (Newcastle)

4. Ashley Birks (Scunthorpe)

5. Andres Mellgren (Rye House)

6. Mason Campton (Glasgow)

7. Tom Perry (Somerset)

The following team could have been built for 42.45 last March and would now require 52.49

Ben Barker 9.87 (9.83)

Jason Doyle 8.00 (9.17)

Craig Cook 7.50 (8.50)

Rohan Tungate 5.00 (6.55)

Adam Roynon 4.54 (7.07)

Ashley Birks 3.81 (5.59)

Richie Worrall 3.73 (5.78)

Can anyone produce a team with a higer end of season total?

C.Gjedde 8.88 (9.22)

J.Doyle 8.00 (9.17)

N.Morris 6.94 (8.00)

T.Pijper 5.98 (7.71)

A.Roynon 4.54 (7.07)

A.Birks 3.81 (5.59)

R.Worrall 3.73 (5.78)

Could have been put together for 41.88 in March.

Would now need 52.54!

Or how about:

Doyle 8.00 (9.17)

Lawson 7.86 (8.64)

Roynon 4.54 (7.07)

Pijper 5.98 (7.71)

Birks 3.81 (5.59)

Worrall 3.73 (5.78)

Ashworth 8.39 (8.84)

Was 42.31 . . . . .Now 52.80!!

And yes, I am stuck at work and bored!!

its teams like this that win leagues not always the best riders but building a team that can improve there average to a point they are too strong in depth for the opostion
