I'm hoping for some decent Weather. A Safe Meeting to BOTH Teams. 'Diamonds' to win.

Score: 48 - 42. I think it will be close.

Redcar is a better team now than the one we have met in earlier season meetings. Carl is struggling but Kus has woken up, and Davey replaces Dilger.

Still don't reckon it will make them strong enough to beat us, but a better meeting will result tomorrow.

Looking forward to the Bears hoards to swell our ranks. Forecast is good with no rain, and with our superb track, how can anybody miss it.

Shouldn't that be "Dilger replaces Davey"?

Would love to see plenty Redcar fans travelling up and been treated by all Newcastle fans the way we would expect to be treated anywhere. All the childish remarks on here have gone way OTT.

At the end of the day both clubs need as many fans through the gates from BOTH sides as possible.

In the 70s at Cleveland Park banter between the fans was always flying back and forwards. The Football hate mentality shown by certain people from BOTH sides recently never ever showed its face.

Lets have some decent banter but lets ALL support our team and respect our opposition.

Rant over :)

It might be. Someone said on here that Dilger rode last weekend on the continent, and wondered why he did not ride on Thursday at home. Another poster hinted that Davey was seeing out his 28 day contract so at least we know one of them should be with us tonight. :P

Well said. We don't want the Bears remarkable victory tonight and qualification to the next stage to be overshadowed by any more unpleasantness. Plenty of positive comments on here regarding how smooth the Brough track is as well at the moment (although granted most are written by Tsunami). Sensible choice for Dilger to leave his UK return from a broken leg until tonight rather than risking it at the STMP.
