Tai Woffinden

Recommended Posts

Broken clavicle so could be out for a while.

Gutted for Tai as this season he has really turned things around not just on the track but off also and yesterday while other riders simply got on with the day, Tai put on a buffet for his sponsors, organised passes to the pits and was none stop taking time out for autographs and pictures.

Great to see the amount raised went over £25,000 at the meeting and hopefully will increase even more.

Tai has next years charity event planned for Cancer Research ........ He must be mad !!!!  :o :o

Most recent update from twitter shows a picture of an x-ray posted by Tai and a statement that says the bone is shattered so not a clean break and could require a plate. Sounds like a lengthy absence :-(

What now for Wolves? We can have the pick of the guests, subject to availability and willingness of riders and other promotions, but perhaps we should look at a short term signing?

Could Emil be tempted by a 2 month contract?! AJ?!

Edit - Just seen the previous posts about the guest facility. In light of the above, definitely time to source a short term signing for me.

Tai will do everything possible to be back not only in the GPs but also to keep Wolves top of the table. Hope his op goes well.

Tai's form this season has been excellent. I hope to see Tai back just as soon as he has fully recovered from this injury and for his own sake but hope he doesn't rush his return?

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Tai. Hope the operation goes well and that he's fit as soon as can be.

All the best to Tai, a nasty crash and probably a touch fortunate his injuries weren't worse than they are. He was going well for sure this year and it's a shame this has clipped his wings somewhat, but that's speedway and let's face it, 2 wheeled motorsport in general, there's always something lurking to bite you on the 4rse.

Speedy recovery, TW.

Nasty crash, getting hit in the head as the bike went over..... Could have been worse, good luck on a speedy recovery!

I only hope that he doesn't come back too soon. As much as we would all like him to return as soon as possible - we do not want him to damage himself further.

Terrible luck for Tai though but as has been said, "that's Speedway".

Hope everything heals well and that he can return as soon as is safe (for him).

It's VERY early days yet, look at how Holder's campaign accelerate last year after the Cardiff win. One huge points rack up could see somebody reigned in.

Fingers crossed he's back for the next GP, hope he doesn't come back too early though. He's collarboned before.

The best thing is, Emil won the GP but points wise only got 9 in the meet then 5 in the ride-offs. Not like he streaked away with a 24 point haul or anything.

Everything crossed!
