Leicester V Peterborough 22/3 Pre-season Challenge

Recommended Posts

The changes to the reserves in the EL this year is solely down to cost and nothing to do with rider development, as for what's going to happen at Leicester this year is pretty easy on the basis of yesterday's match you are going to have a pants season and will struggle to win anything even at home.

It's going to be a long season

Sounds a bit bitter?

More disappointed, although I did raise a smile when I saw the result of the match last night.

It certainly looks like it's going to be a long season on the Lions BSF threads as Leicesters very own verson of three wise monkeys (TMW, Weatherwatcher and the legendary Mrcts) constantly keep us all in mind of that classic Carry on Cleo one liner!

So how was last night's meeting? anyone? what was the crowd like.. did we retain many of the 000's that (re)turned (up) for the ben fund.

We'd batter you lot home and away with ease by 20+

Your promotion just prayed on the weakness with this fixture

There's no difference between the EL and the PL.

I would back the Panthers to beat any so called EL side over 2 legs.

not sure if it has went fishing or genuinely beleives this!

Not sure if serious? Fisher and Lasse try just as hard as PUK and Kenneth.

Dryml is the European champion, What champion is Schlein?

Ulrich is better than Lambert and our reserves have more experience than yours.

Still think you need to give these 2 young lads time. This was thier first ride even though it was against a PL side. They will need a few more races before they get it together. Shame though that it will be a no win no gain for the team if they do not produce the goods. It would have been better if they just learnt the ropes this first year and just scored the sides on the first 5 riders.

Thier nerves must have been on a roller coster ride being as it was the first time they had riden in a meeting at BP.

Lets give them a chance at least before we write them off.

I sure that will be the case part way through the season if they don't show what they can do, bags backed and away they go back to the lower depths of NL.

The question is, how long will the no 6 & 7's be given by their teams/promoters/managers if they are shipping 10+ points per match on a regular basis? Supporters are probably more forgiving and patient, but they don't make the decisions, do they!

It think it will be a case of 3 old song. Homewood bound and ticket to ride. They could also be leaving on a jet plane if the promoters can't stick with them for long.
