Steve Shovlar 10,439 Posted April 9, 2014 With Sky unsure that Coventry will have a circuit fit for racing this fixture has been switched to Wimborne Road. Poole hope to welcome Chris Holder into the team as a short term replacement for the injured Darcy Ward. Poole should be at full strength, and Coventry should also name their original 1-7. Champions Poole will be looking for three points but Coventry do have track specialists in Andersen and Harris, as well as two very good reserves in Garrity and Sargeant. Thoughts? LagutaRacingFan 1,935 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) Will be a good meeting, Always added spice between the Pirates and the Bee's and the inclusion of Holder would make it even more spicier, so spicy in fact that It would rival a hot curry from Ali's curry house! Predicting a close one, with twists and turns, 4-2's and 5-1's galore but I'm going to stick my neck out and go for a 47-43 win for the Poole Pirates who will no doubt be looking to sink the Bee's but the question remains... Have the Bee's got it in them to sting the Pirates and possibly sink the ship and leave Matt Ford and Middlo with their hands on their hips? Starman2006 2,354 Posted April 9, 2014 Won't be a walk in the park, but we'l take 3 points. I wonder if Jacques will grace us with her presence?
stevebrum 6,821 Posted April 9, 2014 Cov will have to up there game if they are to get anything at all after failing at Perry Barr big time. Howarth and Hans should be tall scorers. Harris is more than capable of a big score at a track he can ride well. A fit and big point score from Garrity will be vital.
Woz01 3,589 Posted April 10, 2014 (edited) A fit Garrity and I think we can take a point. I also think Howarth will be key, can he get the better of Milik and Grajczonek? I was very impressed with Howarth at Birmingham. Edited April 10, 2014 by woz01
Bagpuss 10,780 Posted April 10, 2014 All down to Garriry's fitness how close Coventry get, that's what cost them at Brum last night. Should be three Poole points whatever happens but a fit and on song Garrity or a decent guest will keep it interesting.
Bee 26 426 Posted April 10, 2014 Should be a comfortable home win, Poole have a solid top 3 who won't drop many points. Hopefully we can keep it close for the cameras but can't see many teams coming away from WR with any points
mdmc82 2,878 Posted April 10, 2014 I agree. Think this will be Coventry's hardest away match as Poole has started well and in my opinion Holder makes them stronger than Ward. Alot will depend on Garrity being fit and also Harris stepping up Can see a home win
Dornier 795 Posted April 10, 2014 Think this will be a big test for the Bees I think it will be apparent after this meeting whether the Bees are really up for it. .

I wouldnt be too down hearted if we lost the next 2 meetings, Kings Lynn and Poole will be the top 2 I think. If we can get any points from both meetings I will be happy.
Skidder1 7,636 Posted April 10, 2014 Poole should be strong enough - especially if Holder gets the nod from the BSPA? - and if everyone manages to steer clear of 'dangerman' Fisher!!! The battles between Kyle H and his lodger Josh G should also be interesting. An unfit Garrity should balance out a (pick any adjective of choice) Smart! Guest GiveusaB Posted April 10, 2014 Absolute farce that Poole can use Holder IMO ??? does that mean other teams can bring Holder in as a guest if required? Does the 'P' in BSPA stand for Poole?
