Lakeside V King's Lynn 20th June 2014

Recommended Posts

Well done to Lakeside on an impressive victory. Obviously disappointed to lose but the law of averages say it bound to happen sooner rather than later. Although we started off really well, The track finally took its toll on the inexperienced riders who could only muster 3 points between the 3 of them.

Lamberts cord error was so elementary. It should never happen in a professional sport............ But that's all a learning curve, I can't imagine he'll do it again.....

Sad to hear Holder broke his wrist tonight in accident in Denmark. also hear that although Porsing hard a bad fall, but apparently got away with a few bruises

What a comeback - still can't believe it after 8pts down after H6! Great team-riding by Mikkel in Ht10 to let Richard through and playing rear gunner for the rest of the race. Nice of the captain to let Ben take a deserved win in H12. Play-offs here we come

Hope Niklas is not too bad - he's going really well this season.

Looks like leaving Graversen in his last ride might have cost us a win tonight but ofc we'll never know. Can't be disappointed with a 4pt loss really though - gives us another +1 away point and continues our run of getting points every match so far, so can't be bad :P

Well the run had to come to an end eventually, well done 'ammers. A decent point really at a circuit we rarely do well at with three team members missing.

Lynn team not firing on all cylinders. Tough place to go. So happy with a point. Unusual for Rob to make a mistake maybe Lewis B didn't want 6 rides.

We had no other option in his last ride but Blackbird should of replaced him in heat 8.

Saying that, a point was the best we were gonna get. Disappointing we didn't get to grips with the track quicker with the dirt line moving out yet heat after heat we hugged the curb.

Can't win them all of course and in the end a point was a great result.

Well yes but you know what I meant  Blackbird was worth 7 rides and Graversen was not worth 4.

Absolutely :t: strange choice of guest but not sure what other options we had available to be fair

Some very good and close racing tonight. Home fans would have settled for two league points at the outset and it was a bonus that all three were a possibility (albeit a small one) in Heat 15.

What did those watching on Bet365 think of it?

Had to be a PL rider with an average of below 6 I'm led to believe.

Thougt it was pretty good. Impressed how Morley has improved, even replacing Ellis in final ride. Good to see Scott riding well again

His home average is better than Adam's but, generally, Ben is poor away from Arena.

Poor score from pk, is he past it?

9 points is poor??

Haven't people been asking the SAME tired question for about 6 seasons now.

The answer is a simple NO.
