There's a potential problem with the weather this evening for everyone, this is due to a STALLING WARM FRONT which is moving from east to west, it stretches the whole length of the country and is currently slicing the UK in half from Top to bottom, and has recently made landfall from the North sea. This is a warm front and contains unusually high amounts of water vapour, which could lead to 4cm+ rainfall locally as it struggles westward...

Where it is around this evening is still open to conjecture, but if you get it by 5pm, you'll still have it at 10pm....

Possibly thundery as well by mid afternnoon...

How do you get a photo/screenshot into a post on here?

As I said, it's a "stalled front" meaning it's not going anywhere fast.... By the looks of it, it could start moving anytime, once it starts to get influence from daytime heating... It might not or pretty unlikely at the moment it will get as far west as Swindon, but there's a 20% chance it could arrive, the Trent Bridge Test Match is under the same timescale threat from this warm front as well...

Very hot in Swindon, 1pm forecast update still shows sunny right through the day and no rain.

Message on website it for fans to get to the stadium early as a larger than normal crowd is expected as those going to Somerset or Cardiff may also be visiting to see Swindon - Poole, always a good meeting.

Always love the "get their early" especially when they usually delay the start of the meeting anyway to allow for those who don't do it.

The 'get there early' thing is a load of cobblers.

The turnstiles don't open until 6.30 so anyone getting there early will just be queuing in the car park anyway.

Better to have a couple of cold ones sat outside the Cold Harbour before wandering across about 7.

reading the press releases today.... poole saying the draft system needs some changes hmmmm......sounds like they still not happy with it yet they virtually claimed kyle newman as there draft rider before choosing began but there still not happy , maybe because there not 20 points clear at the top of the league....

some promoters can be so hypocritical sometimes , i can guarantee you this if poole had 2 top reserves instead of one they would be totally happy about the draft system and wouldnt be releassing statement about changing it !

there are teams that didnt get a pick like poole did with newman , theyve just got on with it .

in closing i would like to hope that the hypocrits dont outweigh the promoters who have the longterm future of the british riders in mind

long term plan are the key words here , not short term league winning signings that some clubs prefer

Haven't seen these reports but it would be no surprise seeing as Ford thought he was going to get Brady Kurtz in at number seven to go with Newman while most other teams had to feed on scraps. Smart, Hopwood & Johnson must be a come down after what the dark lord thought he'd be able to engineer.

Bloody heck imagine if they would've have been allowed to have Brady & lord knows how they thought that would happen.
