Wolves V Lakeside 21/7

Recommended Posts

Amazing comments in the programme tonight to say "other sports are struggling as well"

Sums up speedway to a tee. Rather than acknowledge you've got it all wrong, just say others have it bad too

Wolves season is over.

If today was a GP, No doubt Tai would be riding.

Fishing again are we. The season was over long before.

Must win was it Adams? Try this for size.

Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

A night where a rider guests for a play off rival to his team & comes up with a score that just looks so dodgy.

Eh? He was riding against a play off rival!

Surely you didn't consider Wolves a play off rival? Seriously?

Seems Harris wrecked his best bike in Heat 1, prob the one set up for Monmore.

Like Tai last week, it doesn't take much in this format to have a stinker of a night. Fell trying to pass in his 2nd..

A poor performance though granted.

Let me know if he makes any comments at the end of the match, apparently it was too 'tense' too be interviewed during the meet.

An outside rival maybe then.

Brilliant win for the Hammers! Such a shame that Bech didn't get off the line in heat 15, we could have pushed for all 4 points - although I'm definitely happy with 3.

Good to see Adam having a good meeting - hopefully that will give him a bit of a boost.

Disappointing from Bomber - did that first fall leave him feeling a bit second hand?

I think Nilsson's paid nine tipped the balance.

Some great racing at Monmore once again, poor Bomber had a mare - unlucky with two falls. Great scrap with Barker Ht.5

Well done to Adam looks to have his mojo back. Great overtake on Jacobs Ht.14 & nice to see him pull a wheely on his victory lap Ht.7. Great stuff

Surely lakeside are way more of a playoff threat than wolves ??

Think Kings Lynn, Poole & Coventry are nailed on & the last spot is up for grabs & both Lakeside & Swindon will be gutted when they see the other result as they were both big away wins.

Mixed feelings on that one. Nice to see the Hammers take the win but feel for Wolves fans. Nothing worse than to lose a match because your top rider is missing and the guest lets you down.

Glad to see Adam Ellis back in the points after a difficult few weeks, and nice to see Kim acquitting himself fairly well with paid 9 after the controversial replacement of PK.

Guys its not Pete Adams fault. If you want someone to blame then I am sorry but its because of Woffy.

Darcy Ward does the same amount of meetings as Tai.

If Woffy was there tonight then Wolves would have won instead you have had to book Harris who only scored 2 points.

The first fishing trip failed, so change username and cast the net again......
