Download Winevdm latest version here - https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/releases and unzip the file, 2. Download Visual C++ here - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=52685 although you more than likely have this already if so skip this 3. Unzipped speedway promoter files then copied these into a GDW2002 folder under windows folder so you have this directory - C:\Windows\GDW2002 4. Once you have done the above run > otvdmw.exe from the folder you unzipped in step 1, then you will be prompted to open an exe file which will be the speedway promoter exe in GDW2002 folder. It may look like the mouse pointer is constantly loading but that's fine from what I have seen so far Would this work better for any of you? @Marksman @MassMarauder If there's any issues try leave the speedway promoter folder on desktop then run otvdmw.exe then when the box pops up then open SPE2002.EXE Just done a quick video showing the steps I've mentioned and what it should look like working https://youtu.be/s9LftM8ZsMw Failing miserably with step 3...where are the ...'Unzipped speedway promoter files'? Sp33dy89 15 Posted May 27, 2020 @Marksman have you by any chance come across the part of the code which will enable a rider to show up in game/be active on lists or even transfer/loan listed
Welwyn 62 Posted May 27, 2020 Here's a list of riders that I have thought of possibly. Any thoughts on any others or averages? Patryk Dudek Piotr Pawlicki Przemysław Pawlicki Joonas Kylmakorpi Tomasz Jędrzejak Rune Holta Christian Hefenbrock Patrick Hougaard Ales Dryml Lukas Dryml Aleksander Čonda Sebastien Tresarrieu Oliver Allen Simon Stead Benji Compton James Cockle Andrew Appleton Adam Roynon Morten Risager Chris Schramm Lewis Blackbird Leigh Lanham
MassMarauder 22 Posted May 27, 2020 There are quite a few riders who are not listed on this years named 7 for Championship teams - but rode in the championship last season when doubling up from the National Development League. They have Championship averages.

See examples below 4th number from the end is to do with transfer list/retired list etc.. 1 = transfer listed 2 = retired listed 4 = unattached listed 3rd number from the end is loan cost 13,0,0,23,22500,7.54,13,8.54,0,0,1,2500,0,0 - Brady Kurtz 1,1,0,28,4600,4.62,7.39,0,0,0,1,500,0,0 - Steve Worrall - Loan 1,0,0,21,0,2,3.12,2,0,0,2,0,0,0 - Jack Smith - Unattached 4,0,1,41,12000,7.78,13,7.78,0,0,4,1500,0,0 - Bjarne Pedersen - Ret Edited May 27, 2020 by Sp33dy89 1

Denmark = 4 etc. Second number I think determines wether the rider is listed for loan or to buy 1 = Loan, 0= Transfer (Also seen 2 appear here a couple of times) Other numbers you'll probably know already like 4th = Age, 5th = Price to buy. Followed by the averages.. I was able to place a 4 in the 4th number from the end and a 1 in the second number on everyone, and they all appeared in the 'Retired' list! All the 40+ random riders appear in order from Row 986 down, you can remove them from the game easily enough too.
TheSmiler 420 Posted May 27, 2020 Didn't realise this was my thread from years ago! Amazing to see the progress being made. I'd love to give it a go, but I don't have the game and would need to get it on Windows 10, could anybody point me in the right direction of the actual 'Speedway Promoter' file so I can get that downloaded and try the other links to get it working. Much appreciated!

Welwyn 62 Posted May 28, 2020 I will do if I can complete it. Think I have hit on another snag. Think there is a minimum amount of riders total. Leaves me 8 short now.

daveallan81 330 Posted May 28, 2020 I worked out how to change the team names years ago but never bothered tinkering with the riders list. How does the game generate new riders? Does it simply take a combination of first and last names from the rider list and produce a hybrid - Broc Crump for example? Or does it have another way of doing it?
