Kings Lynn V Swindon - 27-08-2014 @ 19:30

Simon Lambert it is.

Could be disastrous if we lose any of our reserves for the play-offs as this will be his last appearance as a guest and he is the only suitable replacement IMO

Lets just hope that Rose is fit by play-off time then... :o

Lambert is a good call. Is there another rule that says limit only applies to league matches, not the play-offs ?

depending how long Lewis Rose is going to be out of action what's stopping us singing Lambert until Rose is fit again it would also take Lambert out of reach of other clubs using him against the Stars - if we don't sign him expect some sick notes to be floating around by other clubs just so Lambert can br a guest in visiting teams .

As I said earlier, there's no such thing as injury replacements in the Draft System. If we replace Rose, that's it we can't get him back.

The cut off for team changes is also Thursday. If Rose is long term our only option is guests until the end of the season.

The management will have to act fast.

Please don't discard Lewis Rose, he has come good for you especially latterly :t:

If KL did do such a deed, I think we all know that he would end up at Poole - under some other new dubious ruling.. :nono:

Nobody wants to let Rose go it's just the severity of his injury is unknown.

Looking forward to tonight's meeting. Swindon are no mugs, and like most teams go well at the Norfolk Arena. We need to give them the respect they deserve, and not take things as easy as we sometimes do. If our riders are on their game it should be ok. but anything less than 110% and we will struggle.

The Robins look like play-off contenders and will be giving it their all. We have to raise the bar and put in a performance that other teams will be made aware of. Come Play-offs, we don't want them to think the Stars are easy pickings, especially at Saddlebow Road....

I always thought Rose riding in 3 leagues could come back and bite us.. I appreciate the financial implications but nobody can do that much travelling on our crap roads without it taking it's toll. It was only a matter of time before sometime like this happened.

Young Stars meetings seem to be few and far between though.

I hope Lewis Rose doens't read any of this. He may feel very unwanted !!!!

Presumably you've felt the need to take on the mantle of forum berk since Shovlar disappeared.

Don't think Rose's injury is down to his workload, was just unlucky that his wheel collapsed.

Anyone that supports Poole & starts with an "S" is best to avoid as they're both Shovlar wanna be's.

Rosco has altered the team line up tonight moving Nick to 2 and Dak to 4. He feels this makes the robins stronger with the improvement in the performance of Dak.

If Peter can stay on his bike the robins should come away with at least one point.
