Jayne, any news on when the final meeting against Scunthorpe is going to be?

Hopefully Extance`s injuries are not to bad and he is up and about very soon.

Why did Coventry request a track inspection.

The riders didn't think it was safe as the outside was so rutty that they were flying around the bends causing riders to fall off.

Shame that it ended with Extance, Atkins and Sarjeant all getting injured

Why did Coventry request a track inspection.

Reading the updates I make it 13 falls in 15 heats. Clearly the track wasn't ridable!

Buxton is a track that is not always to everyones liking!

Hope all the riders make a quick recovery. That's a seriously impressive score from Extance, who seems to be making rapid progress this year.

Went along to this.

The track always seems very rough. Some of the falls were very innocuous but the one which resulted in Adam Extances injury was purely down to Luke Priest carrying far too much speed into the 3rd bend. He managed to dive under Paul Bowen but smacked into the side of Extance who was then clattered by Bowen as he went to ground.

Difficult to see what Extances injury was, the medics seemed to be strapping up every part of him before attempting to get him in to the ambulance.

Extance was the most controlled rider on view and fully deserved his paid max.

There was a rut entering the third bend which had caught out a number of riders. The ref went over to take a look at it but the only remedial work they carried out was to drag the grader over it a few times.

I left at heat 13 because was fed up of the track. Not a great advertisement for the club. I agreed with Coventrys protests. When did seargeant get injured?

It seemed to kick off in the pits after heat 4. Does anyone know what that was all about?

The track
