oldace 1,678 Posted April 15, 2015 SKY have certainly cut back on their coverage. You can hardly blame them. Matches rained off at the drop off a hat or simply dragged through to heat 10. Pretty dire entertainment on show in near deserted stadium and hardly any viewers anyway. Speedway has squandered a glorious opportunity to re invent a sell the sport to a wider audience and is now in exactly the position it deserves to be in

Poole thing didn't help either I suppose. Shame though.
oldace 1,678 Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) The Belle Vue v. Poole thing didn't help either I suppose. Shame though. The day of the moisture coming out of the track at heat 10. Tony Steele lost any credibility with his behaviour that day. To be honest though Jason Attwood should have been more assertive after the earlier fall. Along with the ref they should have said call it off now (heat 9) or we run to the end, unless there is more rain of course, which there wasn't. A blind man could see what was going on there. If speedway had any credibility left then it lost some more that day Edited April 15, 2015 by Oldace
Reliant Robin 492 Posted April 15, 2015 SKY have certainly cut back on their coverage. I think they have for March, April & May to avoid/cut risk of rain offs (if you can ever do that in this country). But 6 fixtures scheduled for June by the looks of it, considering the World Cup takes out a good week, that seems to be ramping it up.

All the best Rob L S This list has been on the website for a while and I would think the list posted by mdcm82 appears to be the correct one as the meetings are more spread out and it includes the Glasgow meeting as well as the meeting between Swindon and Coventry in May. Will need to keep an eye on both as I think they are likely to fill the gaps. Edited April 15, 2015 by A ORLOV

All the best Rob That was posted a couple of weeks ago which is why less on it. The last 2 meetings on that list are no longer confirmed to be on and the PL meeting and the 1st June meeting have been added. I'm sure they will get round to changing it on their site soon. Undercover Elephant 50 Posted April 18, 2015 NO ELITE LEAGUE SHOWN IN AUSTRALIA? Just checked the Foxtel listings and it looks like nothing is being televised here anymore apart from on Eurosport for the GP's This will be the first time I've not watched the Elite leg coverage since it started. Angry is an understatement and it sucks balls big time for a lot of fans, especially the poms here
