Light has been displayed is considered a Starting Offence.

17.11 A RESERVE SWITCH (RS) ride can be taken by a #6 or #7 Rider, subject to a maximum of 7

rides in total, where the #6 or #7 takes the place, except in Heat 15, of:

17.11.1 A Rider who is absent, missing or late in arriving

17.11.2 A Rider at the Team Manager’s discretion before a Heat has commenced.

17.11.3 A Rider disqualified for a Starting Gate offence; see SR 15.3.4.1 & SR 15.16.

 

15.16 HANDICAP HEAT RULES (Starting Offence Replacements)

In Team event s, if a Rider commits a Starting Offence (SR 15.3.4.1) the Team Manager has

an option to either replace the disqualified Rider by a Reserve (starting in the original

position) or nominate the offending Rider for a 15-metre Handicap, starting in gate (d).

 

therefore Lakeside had the option of AJ going off 15m or going with the reserve.

Max Clegg +4 vs Stef Nielsen for me tonight

Did that too, even if Nielsen was fully fit he wouldn't score 5 more then Clegg, but it was his first meeting back, in the end Nielsen had a decent meeting but Clegg would have had to score 1 to tie

I haven't bet on the result, but think this might be closer than many think.

Who does the Speedway Betting for Ladbrokes ? may he stay in a job ...tends to be way out of line on a lot of the markets. he got away with a few as well this week as well after making mistakes .
