Not a good crash, bike went in first and lifted the fence up before Jarek hit it.

 

Russian had the right to go for the gap, just an unfortunate crash there, and Hampel picking up the Rusky.

I do wish someone would sort out airfences.

It is far, far too common where the rider goes under the fence .

And thereby misses the entire protective performance of it.

Belousov was fenced. Kudriasov either hit a rut or his bike seized. Laguta packed up and Gafurov is bloody useless

This also shows why there need to be a reserve in the team that can be put in i.e. case of riders being injured.

There do seem to more crashes with these silencers. Particularly the number of riders who fall unchallenged.

BSI/FIM have scrapped the reserves, they cost too much money because the price money is too small to be enough for 5 riders,
