Masters/Wolbert

King/Tungate

Kennett/Busk Jakobsen

Ostergaard/Palm Toft

Kerr/Worrall

Morris/Lawson

Kurtz/Grajczonek

Howarth/Wells

Bjerre/Robson

Jorgensen/Doolan

Probably one of the worst line-ups for the Pairs ever? Kurtz and Grajczonek should walk it probably beating Morris and Lawson in final.

They were meant to walk it last year as well.

C'mon the Mons.

I guess Rob Lambert is a reserve at Cardiff

He is indeed. You wouldn't expect him to ride for Panthers would you?

Fricke is a a decent racer and can ride race tracks. Wolbert on the other hand.

King and Tungate would have preferred to have Covatti replacing Tungate .

Didn't know we had resigned Max just for the pairs, just shows the power of the dark lord Harkess :rofl:

Has to be any two of the top three, and Covatti is fourth in the Ipswich averages.

Michael Palm Toft is only fifth in the Peterborough averages, though. Even taking Olly Allen out of the equation, he's only fourth. Maybe Lambert being at Cardiff means he isn't counted either, and therefore MPT comes into play.

All the best

Rob

No consideration for those attending the pairs. This is supposed to be a PL prestige event. If the GP continues to devalue it then there needs to be a rethink. Highlights the level of British Speedway when the best we can offer continually impacts the PL. Oh how times have changed.

If you actually read the whole post you will see I was replying to the post were someone said Somerset were meant to walk it last year. I was replying Edinburgh had a stronger pairing last year in Fricke/Masters compared to Masters/Wolbert

I don't think we were stronger last year.

Not at this stage of the season anyway.

And to be fair they were the by far best pairing in the competition. I don't think even Edinburgh fans would disagree. I'm not trying to argue but anything other than morris' exclusion would have resulted in a Somerset win.
