What Time Does Millenium Gp Finish Please?

Recommended Posts

....just working out train times to get back home. Last one is 10pm.

I'm presuming with engines start at 5pm it will leave me plenty of time?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere....

I'm looking forward to it....as I'm trying to remember the last time I watched Speedway live, probably a couple of years ago at Somerset.

Hopefully I'll get the bug back again.

Thank you in advance.

If your last train is 10pm then you'll be out well before that. You'll even have time for a couple of pints after the meeting - in fact you'll probably be able to get an earlier train.

Starts at 5pm so will finish around 7.30 - 8pm depending upon hold-ups (ie. crashes etc).

Hope that helps.

Stay to watch the fireworks ~ they're usually pretty good too.

You'll be okay as long as a stray Rocket doesn't head your way after re-bounding on the roof.

Fair point PW - that can drag things out a bit - followed by the regulation stop Riding because of the state of the Track - that can drag things out a bit more - and then, of course, there is the cancellation of last four Heats.

Yep - you should make the 2200hrs Train. :t:

Remember dogs are not allowed in the Millenium Stadium, try taking them to the movies instead!!

We used to stay every year Friday to Sunday at a very nice hotel in Cardiff who allowed us to leave Jemma in the room for the evening. Lots of walking in Sophia Gardens on GP day, playing with a ball on The Castle grass - she was ready for a sleep when we got back to the hotel. Sunday was spent at Porthcawl before driving home. Happy memories.

Don't rely on this meeting to rekindle your interest in 'real' Speedway! But have a great day anyway!
