Panthers V Somerset 31/08

I disagree..it was far from grippy.

It was far from slick either. Doesn't matter what it is though if you're not in contention coming off turn 2 against your equals or better.

How did Anders get on looks like not too bad a debut ?.

Bloody good, took 1 ride to suss the place out and then he was lightning; His 2nd ride was incredible

His last wasn't bad either as he'd made heat 15 and never gave up for his point. Don't think that he'll be exchanging Christmas cards with Worrall.

He certainly gave more effort than 5 of our lot trying to use the 1 metre wide dirtline on the fence.

Well done Somerset, after a blip when all and sundry had a real good laugh at us when we slumped against Plymouth and Edinburgh, the Somerset promotion come up with the goods again and the Rebels pick up two away wins against Play off rivals. Can the Rebels make it four play off finals in a row, what an achievement if we can. KO Cup semi to come next week as well, regardless of how it all ends up, another great season for us.

PS Good luck to Brady and Josh today, stay safe lads Doyleys injury in the PLRC in 2012 cost us the title.

There was plenty of effort from all but they were chasing shadows after 30 metres. That was the problem, not the track.

Be careful what you wish for. If you said that this time last year then it nearly turned in to your only option.

Heat 01: Ostergaard,Tungate,Morris,Lawson...60.2
Line Up: Ostergaard , Lawson , Morris , Tungate
Comments: Ostergaard electric from gate. Tungate between Morris and Lawson back straight lap 1

What a difference a day makes...

Not really. How often could you stick that label on him at the EoES anyway. I wouldn't put your money on him in a gating competition at our place. It was just standard Ostrich but against decent riders in front who didn't slow down.

Rafa has ridden almost every PL track over the past two seasons and still has a 3pt average

Which proves something at least.
