KIRKYLANE 537 Posted December 6, 2015 blame the bspa bosses they make up these rules...... riders missing meetings it never happened back in the day..well hardly ... only if injured elite league on its last legs anyway Back in the hey day there was no doubling up which is the major headache for promoters with doubling up riders. Guest re injuries are a necessary evil.
R87 476 Posted December 6, 2015 For Wolves if and when he might be needed. He has already said as much according to CVS, plus he isn't keen on a full season. Probably would suit him well being called up mid season if we need him. They reality is that PK has by and large started recent seasons very well, but once the Swedish league begins, his form begins to fade. Out of their three, Thorssell, Wells and Karlsson, I'd have preferred Wells to be honest.
stevebrum 6,820 Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) and just why would the premier league want to change the way it runs just to help out a elite league that cant run itself properly No one is asking the PL to change, the EL is changing . We are trying to address issues that need sorting out not to help the PL thev PL has its own issues. How long did it take them to embrace helping out the future? ?Bet they were pushed into having a 3 pointer at reserve, instead of rubbish foreigners on low averages because they are in truth rubbish. The PL should sort it's own issues out. Edited December 6, 2015 by stevebrum
Wolfsbane 12,944 Posted December 6, 2015 and just why would the premier league want to change the way it runs just to help out a elite league that cant run itself properly Because the continuance of the sport in this country is more important than either the PL or El.
SCB 0 Posted December 6, 2015 and just why would the premier league want to change the way it runs just to help out a elite league that cant run itself properly Ah, then and us. FFS. If the EL and the PL can't work together the sport is buggered. We need to work as one collective, not as it currently is about 5 or 6 cliques in the different leagues all pulling in different directions. It might mean a couple of clubs leaving the EL or the PL but we need to work to the strengths. For years he EL pandered to Eastbourne when some of us said they should drop down. All that pandering and helping and where are Eastbourne now?
MattK 3,447 Posted December 6, 2015 and just why would the premier league want to change the way it runs just to help out a elite league that cant run itself properly PL clubs suffer almost as much with missing doubling-uppers. Running on different nights would be a good compromise for both leagues.

orion 7,615 Posted December 6, 2015 And if they can race on different nights both can benefit. Matt k has been banging the drum on this one for a long time .. and in the forrest of all the idea's people come up with that are unworkable and silly this is one of the better one's and would help both league's out . Tommy Sweetman 480 Posted December 8, 2015 CVS and Adams can count themselves very lucky that Parrys International have remained loyal with their sponsorship for 2016. After the teams awful performances of the last few seasons dont know of many beneficiaries that deserve such support. Reading between the lines, think Dave Parry has read the riot act saying things must change in the comming season.

Meanwhile Howarth joins Sheffield, so he's missing for away trips to Swindon, Kings Lynn..
