This is what should matter to all BEL promoters!

I find this so difficult to comprehend, the logic of this idea. What could possibly be a defining reason why the 'Draft Riders' positions are based on their PL averages. Every supporter, fan, Promoter, Management are aware of the quality of the riders involved. By using figures from another source leaves the door open for conjecture and misplacement.

Would love to know the reason behind such pathetic thinking.....

How would you propose they grade a rider who only rode PL this season?

The majority of riders in the draft scheme rode in the BEL last year and have a legitimate CMA. For those who only rode in the PL could have their Pl score calculated as such to gear them appropriately. Why alter the TRUE scores of a vast percentage of the riders just to accommodate a few new ones.

To alter 95% of the riders scores, just to accommodate 5% of new riders is so ridiculous . No wonder supporters are turning their backs on the sport .

next you'll be asking why an established EL 2nd string with an EL average of 5.53 can't be on the list and signed by Wolves????

Oh hang on - Kyle Howarth!!!!!!!

PS. Congratulations Buster - I hope your many sleepless nights are kept to a minimum!!!

No doubt Poole will do ok with their 2nd reserve & good job that other British riders are getting a chance as well as Kyle Newman has had.

Can't use Howarth's Elite average as reserves are based on Premier averages.

Yes if there's any consistency & it should be the case.

Can't have different rules for different teams.

Who are the other five?

The PL averages being used for reserves are because nobody bothered to keep a track of the draft riders' averages without the protected heats included. If that had been done, or better still if they'd not been mollycoddled in the first place and allowed to race against all of their opponents in the EL rather than just second strings and fellow reserves then they would have proper EL averages. Oh and the 1-5 riders would have averages representative of their ability too rather than all being near to six and having to be graded for 2016.
