Peterborough Panthers 2016

Recommended Posts

The five signed so far don't exactly fill you with the wow factor do they average at best, now you can understand why Barker said it's nice to ride for a promotion who aim to win the league and not just qualify for the play offs.

The last two riders will be crucial for this side, at the moment; it's a solid play-off side but we need some star dust and Thomsen will provide that.

Im pretty happy with the team so far, looks solid all way through. If by odd chance Thomsen has changed his mind and re signs we could be a top of table team

Grondal has to clean up at reserve otherwise it's a waste having a 5 pointer in thr slot with protected reserve.

Panthers biggest issue last season was the lack of heat winners and I don currently see it changing

We are relying on NBJ becoming a 8+ rider

1 Bjerre (Poland) otherwise 8.64 or 8.96

2 MPT

3 NBJ

4 Grondal

5 Ostergaard

6 Ellis/Wilson-Dean

7 Perry

Yes but then you stayed up all night for a signing that did not happen

Glasgow cannot force him to go on a transfer if they dont accomodate him in their 2016 team selection.

be great to see with in Red and Black for 2016

True but they also don't need to agree to loan him out either if he decides not to return then it would go to arbitration to set the fee.

Thomsen will happen, Anders won't turn the chance to ride with Emil down.

You said similar many times re MJJ

[don't be so sure about that,re Troy Batchelor from Peterborough to Swindon even though Panthers wanted to use him Swindon said from 15 th of march they would be able to use him and they did Peterborough were forced to loan him against their will and the chairman of the B.S.P.A. at that time Alex Harkess said clubs should not expect to get a transfer fee every time a rider wants to move elsewhere thus the 15th of march idea was born/quote]

They tend to say whatever suits their purpose at the time!!! In the case of Panthers they allowed RF in let him put some money in the system and then shafted him thereafter. All in the best interests of Speedway

How?

All 5 riders we have signed will increase their averages.

We need an out and out number 1

So far we have the basis of the strongest line up after what others have announced.
