Poole Vs The Aces For The Title

Recommended Posts

no I'm just bored with Poole dragging down the credibility of the sport I love over and over and over

And were all bored with you whining on and on and on and on and on and on about the sport we love! I think you have contributed much on this forum to the detriment of it.

Anyway its play off time. Who's cheering for the Pirates?....(whoaaah deafening roar there).

And who's cheering on the Aces? (pardon, couldn't here you). 😂😵

Will that one do? Singling me out for how I wrote my post about 'ripples' when it was nothing to do with you and I'm sure RP could sort me out herself if she wanted to. She had enough battles the other day with several forum members about more important things than full stops and seemed to be doing okay without your help. Anyway forget it now as it's a load of tosh and nothing to do with Speedway. You'll no doubt calm down and be your usual pleasant self when Poole get their 3rd title in a row.

Yeah okay then.

I have no problem with BV winning it. The only team I want Poole to smash is Coventry and that's been done so I'm pretty happy :) 👍

I certainly don't think you would have 'smashed them' had they not had injuries to two key riders.

With all due respect, weren't Coventry leading The Elite League Table a darn sight longer during 2015 than Poole were?

And no, I'm not a Coventry Supporter. That said, I know I'm truly hoping for Belle Vue's success next week.

i would be stunned if any neutrals want Poole to win. That said some Swindon fans are converting to Poole because of the Ward situation and i can understand that.

Lets just hope the Poole 1-7 is the real 1-7 i.e North rides and then there can be no arguments

One key rider, you can't call Robson a key rider, they should have replaced Robson ages before they did and replaced Kylmo as soon as they discovered he was out for the season and has been said many times they had plenty of points to play with.

Lets hope Zagar rides too after testing his injury in the gp.

Very we said. Coventry lead the table for most of the season. Unfortunately we were hit with injuries to every one of our 1-7 in the last 6 weeks otherwise I honestly believe we would have finished top as even with injuries to key riders, we only missed out on top spot by 4pts (the sham on sky in June)

Garrity & Kylmakorpi had been two of our strongest riders esp at home so to lose them both was a big blow. We replaced a rider scoring double figures at home with a guest that scored 3 whilst Poole found a way to replace a rider who hasn't scored with one that scored 9.

It's a worrying time for Belle Vue fans. Assuming Zagar's internal bleeding has stopped and he gives the GP a try then we have to hope that he comes through without the bleeding starting again. He was originally advised not to race again this season so the signs are not good. However, he wants to ride if he can so we shall have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, unlike some guest replacements Jonsson doesn't strengthen us and probably makes us weaker for the away leg.

Unfortunately, with AJ, you never know which bloke is going to turn up. And he certainly isn't alone in that problem these days.

It's all about the gate, and subsequent speed. Overtaking and team riding are (unfortunately) two attributes that are apparently sadly lacking in the vast majority of todays riders - even the top ones.

I think both teams in this final are pretty evenly matched. It just depends what strokes the 'Dorset Duo' are going to pull next week.

You win nothing in April-August - not even friends!!. Its September/October that usually counts for trophy winning - be it Poole or BV.

Yes and that's when we had injuries.

Kylmakorpi was injured from end of August onwards.

King was injured near end of August

Garrity was out with injuries and carrying injuries end of August/Start of Sep and then got injured again.

Harris got injured start of September

Coventry should have got replacements for their injured riders they had time and had plenty of points to play with, Poole would have done.

On current form Jonsson strengthens Belle Vue if Zagar isn't available.

Yes they should of done, and shot themselves in the foot due to the lack of foresight and forward thinking.

All I want is good weather , a well prepared track and two teams giving their all.

The cherry on the cake would be Belle Vue winning on aggregate.

I do believe that both teams are capable of taking the trophy...... It is all to play for
