Gemini 4,894 Posted October 22, 2015 I'm not really bothered who is in the 2016 team as long as it doesn't contain Davey Watt, Troy Batchelor or Kasprzak. Thank you. I've no idea what all these new gradings are on about so I'll just wait until March and see what happens without bothering my brain cells in the meantime.

Skidder1 7,632 Posted October 22, 2015 I thought Doyle only wanted a midweek track?!

Jacques 3,114 Posted October 22, 2015 I thought Doyle only wanted a midweek track?! He does, but we can live in hope!
Woz01 3,589 Posted October 22, 2015 I thought Doyle only wanted a midweek track?! Friday wouldn't interfere with the GPs as we don't ride GP weekends. Its only a possible team line up anyway.
naffer 442 Posted October 22, 2015 Mick does say he wants an out and out number one in this weeks star. but wanting and getting are a bit different.
Woz01 3,589 Posted October 22, 2015 Mick does say he wants an out and out number one in this weeks star. but wanting and getting are a bit different. It is especially when there isn't many that want to ride in the UK.

Woz01 3,589 Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) Would Harris Larsen Sunstrom Barker Thomson Garrity A n other work average wise That top 3 would be decent enough, Walasek for Barker would then get us closer to the limit but for Thomson maybe slightly over. Bees_Man 454 Posted October 22, 2015 Think we need a new fresh young talent to keep the interest.
naffer 442 Posted October 22, 2015 What did he actually say? He says no final decisions are made but it is clear who we will build the team around ( assuming bomber) and that he is still looking to bring in a number one.
SCB 0 Posted October 22, 2015 Just rough calculations but I come up with Doyle Harris Kylmakorpi Barker Thomson Garrity Sarjeant Get a genuine number 1, solid 2nd and 3rd heat leader, two 2nd strings who should improve their average quite a bit and a strong reserve pairing. Plus Thomson would drop to reserve after 4 meetings. As I said might not fit just a rough idea. I've already suggested that team. So I agree!Looks ok but when was the last time we had a proper number 1Hans in 2014? Harris in 2015? Both top 5 in the averages with bonus points.
Bees_Man 454 Posted October 22, 2015 Did Horton give any clues at the forum tonight?
markyb 323 Posted October 22, 2015 Holy moly - just read that that Poole have signed the liability of Hans Andersen for 2016 - ha ha ha ! Well past his sell by date - spending too much time with his wife and kid and no longer has the bottle to ride speedway anymore ! Great move Mr Ford.for removing this Danish rubbishe from the breast plate from a more worthy club than he has ever deserved. Jason Doyle is the next Jason Crump - if not better ! Wherever he rides in 2016, and if in the UK, will be an amazing for that club.
