So,does that last sentence mean they are looking at changing the race day to avoid a clash with football?

The Premier League is massive all over Europe and so is Spanish football, which kicks off later, on Sunday.

Over and out for ZKS Ostrovia as they are bankrupt and resigned from the league. Probably Wroclaw will stage their meetings there.

I'm not a massive Szymanski fan at the moment, but with whats going on in his sport and having made huge deals like with PGE for example, it cant be that easy for him either...

UK has no football from mid May to Mid August, so clash would be limited.

In most years I would agree but we have 2016 Euro's through mid May to Mid June.

But isn't that played most days? Rather than Sunday afternoons which is the issue here.

 

 

Out of curiosity, who are the riders who look like being left job-less due to clubs closing?

Greg will likely ride for Torun next year. Confirmation will be announced after Greg have talked to sponsors in Torun.

How much can a top flight and middle tier rider expect to earn in Poland ? Anyone know please.

Well if you look at the schedule and look at say sunday the 12th of June then they have games at 15.00,18:00 and 21:00.Same for the sunday 26th June........etc

 

Not sure why marky is repeating what I have already posted(wrong in the case of the Euro Final dates :P ) ??????

The article "assumes" that Hampel for 2015 were paid some 850'000 zloty (~£140'000GBP) as a fixed sum and on top of that earns 5000 zloty (£820GBP) per point.

Imo I think that at least the points money in reality are slightly higher then assumed by Sportowefakty. I also think we can assume that riders like Emil, Nicki, Greg and Tai,

likely earns more then Hampel. So I don't know but maybe 7-8-thousand for those 4 riders?

Lublin, Krosno and Pila from last year

 

Possibly Czestochowa returning from bankruptcy and Poznan who seem to be gearing up for a return???

`Thanks. Little wonder why clubs are broke on those earnings. Gate receipts must be a very small portion of pay.

That may well be the case. Sponsorship plays a huge part in the finances of Polish clubs. And look who the sponsors are...all major national companys. In Britain, you might get Sid's Wholesale Electrical Shop as a title sponsor of an EL team, in Poland you have the Polish equivilents of NPower, British Gas, etc. Massive companys with massive budgets for massive sponsorship deals. No wonder if one (SPAR??? possibly???) dishonours it's sponsorship agreement and doesn't pay up, it throws a speedway team (Falubaz ZG) into financial turmoill.

Perhaps the Poles, like GB, will have to learn not to rely on huuuuge sponsorship deals so much!
