Fingers crossed for all the Robin's faithful, it will be great to get the racing back. But as Orion said until the tapes go up for the first time i would not take anything for granted how can you take anything on trust.

If it does get built I wouldn't be surprised if we end up a bit like Smallmead, with temporary buildings that never get replaced. The main thing is that we get the racing back. The fact that people are there has to be a good sign on that front.

to be fair, why would they move the structures in if they weren't going to use them. They could have just stonewalled. They're probably relying on noise complaints to shut the place down and build some more ticky tacky boxes, er I mean family homes

Especially as he says in the Adver article that nobody from the Speedway club has had any contact from Gaming International re time scales etc.  Rosco's problem is that he needs 'guarantees' by the end of November in order to start signing riders. Those guarantees must also include hospitality options for sponsors, fans etc. Otherwise it'll delay racing til 2023.

At the NSS, the South Stand is a temporary stand!

When asked last week, the builders said "absolutely no chance"

They also said some.of the sections were "f*****!" as they had been stood in all weathers for so long.

As suspected the Stadium has no chance of being ready for 2022  and using sections that are not fit for purpose ... Another Gam int con

Probably being paid by the hour to do the job. Get some Japanese builders on it. It'll be done next week.

The timing of the building work is perfect from Gaming int ...Means that Swindon wont know if the work will done in time meaning they have to say they can't run in 2022 .

Another year then go's by and people lose even more interest before they find another reason next year .
