The Guardian. You might as well post links from the Daily Mash , as they are probably more accurate :D

The Daily Mash won't be happy being compared with the Guardian for accuracy

Seeing the plastic kraut and Air Miles love copy and paste this post is just for them.....:D

I checked my UK eligibility for the vaccine Dashcam, and I can forget it before July 2021 at the earliest..

Of course, the alt-right sources you frequent think COVID is all a conspiracy involving the lizard aliens anyway, so not sure why you're suddenly so concerned about it...

For anyone who still believes the Dover thing is about Macron protecting his people from Coronavirus, Gollum has a message for you.

Latest: EU tells Macron to back down on ports chaos.

Brexiteers would have you believe that EU countries have to do what the EU tells them, yet it's clearly not the case.

Whatever the actual motivation for the travel ban though, it does demonstrate that the UK is little more than a passenger itself now it's outside of the EU.

The idiot still doesn’t learn. The Remain camp lost the referendum by 2% .If you look at the polls Remain were ahead at one stage but their lead disappeared once project fear got underway , and many don’t knows went to the Leave camp.

Your can’t win a heart’s and minds argument by making threats. For as long as Verhofstadt and others think threats are going to work there will always be massive suspicion towards the EU.

Your point is what exactly?

It could just as easily be argued that the supposed lead disappeared when Bojo and Farage put lies on the side of the bus, claimed Turkey was about to join the EU, and put up posters with black faces queuing to get into the UK. You could also point to the following pack of lies that were told to the public...

Absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the single market - Daniel Hannan

Only a madman would actually leave the market - Owen Paterson

There is no plan for no deal, because we’re going to get a great deal - Boris Johnson

The day after we vote to leave, we hold all the cards and we can choose the path we want - Michael Gove

And subsequent proved to be nonsense - as many Remainers actually knew - but many were conned.

Verhofstadt is merely stating the bleeding' obvious - that the UK was sold a turkey and it's now coming home to roost...

No read the question properly instead of trying to avoid it.

You said Brexiteers ( plural ) would have you believe EU countries have to do what the EU tells them . I asked who said that. Instead of answering you have posted part of a report I uplifted from the times talking about excluding the UK from the Galileo project and if you had quoted the whole post instead of duplicitously only quoted part of it , the reader could have seen that the thrust of it was about the power of unelected officials.

So, come who are all these a Brexiteers ( plural) who have claimed, in terms , that the EU countries have to do what the EU tells them.

The point is not difficult to grasp. The Remain camp lost by a mere 2%. It was peppered with threats. The polls started to change in favour of Leave around 6 weeks out, particularly from when Obama gave voice to the “ back of the queue “speech that Cameron scrawled out for him” . Presumably in your blinkered  view the Remain campaign was perfect, and couldn’t have been done better , but I would since there was only 2% in it , and considering many people become indignant in the face of threats , wheeling out the likes of Obama and especially Verhofstadt , very likely accounted for the 2% likely cost Remain the difference.
